“Our search was for a VP, Head of Asset Management reporting to me, with the potential to be considered a Deputy CIO at some time in the future. Milena and Margot helped define this new role, and were tasked with finding a candidate who would be able to work well with operating company constituents within the insurance company, as well as with investment leaders at our strategic investment partner in asset management (and at the time, our largest shareholder).
